Refund, Return and Cancellation Policy

Effective: 22 October 2026

This policy explains when an accepted jewellery order may be cancelled, how product issues are handled, and how eligible refunds are processed. It applies to amounts actually received by Wavoo Jewellers.

Cancellation before dispatch

Request cancellation through our Contact & Visit page, quoting your order number. Cancellation is available before dispatch and before any expressly agreed customisation has started. We will confirm the cancellation status. Once an item has been dispatched, the return process below applies. An automatic order acknowledgement does not establish that a cancellation request has been accepted.

When we cancel an order

If we cannot supply an accepted order, cannot deliver to the agreed destination, identify a material pricing error you do not agree to correct, or receive duplicate successful payments for the same purchase, we will review the transaction and refund the amount that is not due. We will not retain payment for goods we cannot fulfil.

Return eligibility

We do not offer returns solely for a change of mind. A wrong, damaged, defective or materially misdescribed article is eligible for review and an appropriate remedy. Report a concern promptly, preferably within 7 calendar days of delivery, with the invoice or order reference and a description of the issue. This reporting preference does not limit statutory remedies or rights relating to a defect discovered later.

Customised, resized and customer-damaged articles

Personalised or customer-altered jewellery is not eligible for a voluntary change-of-mind return. This restriction does not exclude remedies for an original defect, incorrect customisation performed by us or another seller error. Damage caused by misuse, unauthorised repair or alteration after delivery is assessed separately from an original product defect.

How to request a return

Contact us before sending jewellery. Supply the order reference, affected article and available photographs or other evidence. Keep the invoice, tags, certificates, accessories and packaging where available. An unboxing video may assist investigation but is not the sole acceptable evidence of a genuine issue. Do not send valuable jewellery to an unverified address or by an uninsured method without agreement. We will provide return authorisation and secure handover instructions.

Inspection and resolution

Stop using or altering the article once the issue is identified, except as reasonably needed to inspect it. We aim to complete inspection within 3 business days after the returned article is received and communicate the outcome. A substantiated seller-error claim is resolved through an appropriate refund or a replacement agreed with you. Any delay requiring further examination will be explained with an updated date.

Return transport and refund amount

For a substantiated wrong, damaged, defective or materially misdescribed article, we arrange or pay the agreed secure return transport. The eligible refund includes the amount paid for the affected item, associated tax and original delivery charges attributable to it. Refunds use the actual purchase amount rather than a later gold rate. No undisclosed deduction is applied. Any separately agreed customisation charge for another cancellation must have been disclosed before purchase and be lawful.

Refund method and timeline

We initiate an approved refund within 5 business days of approval. Refunds are made to the original payment source; an alternative method or store credit is used only with your agreement and where permitted. The bank or payment provider may take a further 5–7 business days to reflect the credit. This is an estimate, not a guarantee of the bank’s processing time. We provide the available refund reference so that a delayed credit can be traced.

Failed, pending or duplicate payments

If a transaction fails but your account is debited, the bank or provider may reverse it under its applicable process. A merchant refund applies only to money actually received. Contact us with the transaction date, amount and reference for reconciliation. Do not send full card details, bank passwords, OTPs or UPI PINs. We will review duplicate confirmed receipts and refund the excess amount.

Delayed refunds and complaints

If the expected credit has not arrived, contact us with your order and refund references. We will check the status and provide available tracing information. This policy does not restrict your right to seek an applicable consumer remedy or raise a transaction dispute through the appropriate provider or bank.

Business days and other arrangements

For the merchant processing timelines above, business days exclude Sundays and applicable public holidays. Exchanges, resizing services and buyback are separate arrangements and do not carry an implied percentage or guaranteed value under this policy.
